Poland (Krakow)

Poland (Krakow)

I went to Krakow for 3 days to visit my sister who was doing her study abroad there during the Touissant vacation (end of October-early November). I would have never thought to go to Poland before this, not because I didn’t like Poland but I […]

Haute-Normandie

Haute-Normandie

I’ve always been one to prefer to South and it’s warm weather and beautiful beaches BUT I have to admit, I think I’m being converted to Normandie! It’s not extremely hot but there’s still some sun and some beach plus some beautiful landscapes like the cliffs along the ocean!

Croatia (Split, Plitvice Lakes, Korcula, Dubrovnik)

My boyfriend’s mom and I decided to start our Aoutienne vacation in Croatia. We went to Split, a day trip to Plitivice Lakes, Korcula and Dubrovnik. Read for more details on this amazing trip!

Oxford, England (and a bit of London)

Oxford, England (and a bit of London)

I went to visit my cousin in Oxford but I went via London so I also spent a day in London. My cousin has been working there for a year and had plenty of tips and places to show me, not just in Oxford but also in the surrounding English countryside (which if you have a car at your disposal, you should definitely make sure to drive around!)

I spent the first day in London followed by 4 days, 3 nights in Oxford. We went on a day trip to Woodstock, just 10 miles from Oxford, and went on a 2 hour nature hike through one of the national footpaths.

Lisbon, Portugal (+ day trip to Sintra, Portugal)

Lisbon, Portugal (+ day trip to Sintra, Portugal)

My parents and I decided to go to Portugal during their visit to Europe. We also have family living there that we had been meaning to visit and were extremely kind and helpful to us during the stay in terms of showing us around.

We spent 4 days, 3 nights in Lisbon. One of these days was spent in Sintra, a town about 1 hour away from Lisbon (IT IS A MUST-SEE!) When in Lisbon, we stayed in the downtown core but also ventured out a bit.
