Le Marché des Enfants Rouges is one of my favourite outdoor food markets to visit! Le Stand is a perfect example of the different but tasty vegetarian food you can find here. It’s the kind of food that you wouldn’t normally have (think purple cauliflower) but that makes you feel good and your body satisfied!
25 Rue du Pont aux Choux, 75003 Paris
I start to get homesick especially around Thanksgiving time not only because I miss my family, but also because I miss the comfort food! Rachel’s is a great place to indulge and enjoy some of that comfort food, with a kick, that will make you feel at home: stuffed and happy!
27 Rue Meslay 75003 Paris
When your nose starts sniffing delicious BBQ smells about 200m away, you know it has to be good! The Beast is a great BBQ go-to that’s reasonably priced for the quality they’re pushing out. If you’re a North American like myself who has these cravings every so often, this is the place to go!
106 Rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris
Fringe was the perfect spot for a calm day of bullet journaling. It’s got the simple Swedish style on the inside. The cloud-like lights that ironically bring you back down to earth. The coffee itself is top notch! They even have guest espressos that allow you to try something new!
111 Boulevard Beaumarchais 75003 Paris
The iconic red car is the symbol of Merci! it’s one of those everything type of stores: it has a used-book café, a department store that’s current theme is Paris (= great place to buy not-your-regular souvenirs and more!) and more!
52 rue de Saintonge 75003 Paris
I have walked by this bar/taco joint many many times… and I heard it was a secret bar/restaurant as well, but all I saw was this small tiny kitchen. HOWEVER, one day, I finally walked by and saw at the end of the room, a door that was half open and inside I discovered this wonderful Mexican place that is full of life and flavour!
76 Rue des Tournelles, 75003 Paris
This place has been on my list for a while as it is very popular, regardless of its small space. However, after finally visiting and spending a blissful afternoon here, I understand why it’s so popular: simple things done right in a cosy and welcoming place.
