Filakia

Filakia

9 Rue Mandar, 75002 Paris

In a city that’s filled with shawarma and pita around almost every corner, how do you find one that stands out from the late-night/touristy rest? Well look no further than the Montorgueil area for this gem of souvlaki maison (homemade)! All the right flavours in all the right places!

Kozy – salon urbain

79 avenue Bosquet 75007 Paris

You’re on your way back from the Eiffel Tower and it’s brunch time… where do you go? I offer you this gem of a place, Kozy ! It’s chill and “kozy” as the name implies. The brunch was exactly what my friend and I needed for a friendly catch-up session in Paris.

Café Méricourt

Café Méricourt

22 rue de la Folie Méricourt 75011 Paris

I took my time to try this brunch staple out, wanting to avoid the immediate popularity that ensued as soon as it opened. But I’m glad I finally tried out since now it makes sense to me why people are drawn to this very simple but quaint café. The food is good, the coffee is good. This is the Sunday-morning place you’re looking for!

Aloha Café

Aloha Café

32 rue Pierre Fontaine 75009 Paris

From the moment I saw this Hawaiian themed café and their Instagram account, I knew I wanted to check it out! From the bright and fresh décor (not shortage of pineapples or monsteras here!) to the homey, cosy feel, this is a great place to meet with friends and catch up!
